DoE Delegation Visits PRAN-RFL’s Habiganj Industrial Park




PRAN-RFL Group has inaugurated a Zero Discharge Plant at Habiganj Industrial Park, strengthening our commitment to responsible water management and sustainable industrial development. The plant was inaugurated by Dr. Md. Lutfur Rahman, Director General of the Department of Environment.

By enabling the treatment and reuse of water from our factories, this initiative aims to reduce water consumption and significantly lower liquid waste discharge into the environment—supporting more efficient use of resources and environmentally responsible production.

Speaking at the inauguration, Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, highlighted our long-standing efforts in environmental protection and resource optimisation. He emphasised that environmental responsibility must go hand in hand with production, with the plant representing a further step in this ongoing commitment.

During the visit, Dr. Md. Lutfur Rahman and the Department of Environment delegation toured the Zero Discharge Plant, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), recycling production unit and bicycle production unit, gaining an overview of our environmental management practices and manufacturing operations. The Director General also planted a tree as part of PRAN-RFL Group’s greenery development initiative, reflecting the shared importance of creating greener and more sustainable industrial environments.
